3인으로 구성되어 있으며, 2002년 인디즈 앨범 Omajinai Perori를 발매한 이후 계속 함께 활동하고 있습니다.
이들이 대중적인 성공의 계기를 마련한 것은, 2007년 발매한 Polyrhythm 앨범 이후입니다.

2002년 인디즈 앨범 Omajinai Perori 앨범을 시작으로 약 8년 이상 같이 활동하고 있는 Perfume은 2007년 Polyrhythm이 자원재활용 광고캠페인 송으로 채택되면서, 대중적인 인지도를 넓히게 되었습니다.

2002년부터 매년 1~2개의 새로운 앨범을 발매하여 왔고, 2008년의 경우에는 무려 5개의 앨범을 선보였습니다.

주요 앨범으로는 2008년 Love the World 앨범을 발매하였고, 2008년 11월 싱글앨범 Dream Fighter를, 2009년 3월에는 One Room Disco를 발매하였습니다.

8년 이상 활동했지만, 88~89년생으로 이제 성년식에 접어드는 나이이므로 아주 어린 시절부터 활동해왔음을 알 수 있고, 데뷔시절 이들의 앳띤 영상을 유투브 등에서 발견할 수 있습니다. 데뷔 앨범이었던 Omajinai Perori는 그들의 고향인 Hiroshima 지방에서 한정되어 판매된 앨범에 불과하였다고 합니다. 
이들의 앨범이 6만장 이상 팔리기 시작하고, 오리콘 차트 TOP10에 진입하여 대중적으로 알려지게 된 것은 2007년 Polyrhythm 앨범 이후입니다. (위키페디아)

12~3살쯤에 뭉쳐서 첫 앨범을 내고, 8년 이상 한결같이 앨범을 내고 전국적이고 세계적인 앨범을 내고 있는 모습이 경이롭기까지 합니다. Perfume은 현재 글로벌 세계음반 차트 100위권 이내에 Rank되어 있으며, 일본 오리콘차트에서는 2007년 이후 많은 곡들이 1위를 기록하고 있습니다.

발로 피아노를 치면서도 빌보드차트 2위를 기록하고 있는 미국 여가수가 있어 화제가 되고 있습니다. 



이 주인공은 지난 일요일(09.04.26) Paul de Leeuw가 진행하는 독일 TV 쇼 'Mooi! Weer De Leeuw'에 출연하여, 구두를 신은 발로 피아노를 능수능란하게 연주하는 신기한 묘기를 보여주었습니다.

해당 주인공은 올해 23살인 1986년생 Lady GaGa로 그녀는 현재 테크노 비트송 Poker Face로 빌보드 차트에서 수주간 2위를 유지하고 있습니다. Lady GaGa는 원곡이 빠른 비트송임에도 불구하고, 피아노 아쿠아스틱만으로 자신의 곡을 음악적으로 완전히 소화하여 TV 청취자에게 선사하는 감동의 무대를 선사하였습니다.

    그녀는 Fergie, Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears, New Kids on the Block, Akon 등을 포함하는 대형 팝스타들을 위한 작곡가로
    일을 시작했습니다. Akon은 그녀가 가수로서 보컬 재능도 지녔음을 알아본 후, 그녀가 단독앨범을 내도록 권유했습니다.
    GaGa는 The Fame 앨범을 2008년에 발매했습니다. 이 앨범에는 Just Dance, Poker Face 등의 곡이 담겨있습니다.
    그녀는 David Bowie나 Queen, 80년대의 Madonna같은 락의 한 부류인 glam rockers들의 영향을 받았다고 알려지고 있습니다.

    그 유명한 세기적 공연 메탈리카 Enter Sandman 모스크바 1991년 라이브 공연입니다. 모인 인파와 호응도는 영상으로 확인할 수 있습니다.  유투브에서 이 영상만 이미 약700만이 시청하고 있으며, 이 공연을 쉽게 영상으로 만날 수 있다는 것은 축복이네요.

    1989년 11월 9일 독일 베를린 장벽이 무너졌고, 1991년 12월 24일 소련이 붕괴하였습니다.
    1991년 10월 28월 붕괴 전야에 구소련에서 극적으로 열린 이 장엄한 공연에서, 붕괴되고 터져야 할 것들을 느낄 수 있습니다.
    제복을 입은 군경들의 모습과 운집하여 환호하는 수많은 인파들은 역사적인 대조를 이루고 있습니다.
    모스크바의 땅 위에도 무대는 설치되고, 하늘로는 헬기가 날랐던 것입니다...
